FRA Workshop – Making the Transition to High School

MAKING THE TRANSITION TO HIGH SCHOOL:
WHAT PARENTS NEED TO KNOW TO CREATE A MEANINGFUL EXPERIENCE FOR THEIR YOUNG PERSON WITH DOWN SYNDROME

Thursday, March 21, 2013
7:30-9 pm at FRA

Please join me and a panel of very knowledgeable moms of students with Down syndrome who are currently in or recently out of high school.
You are guaranteed to leave the meeting with many good ideas, and with a very positive feeling about how high school can prepare your child for the future. We will focus not only on curriculum, but also on life skills and social opportunities.

We will also take a look at job community based job opportunities and more!

Come with your questions!

RSVP to Sue Levine at slevine@frainc.org, or at 732-747-5310 ext 117.
